Thrilld Labs Partners with Stablecon EMEA

We’re thrilld to announce a media partnership with Stablecon EMEA, a stablecoin conference at the intersection of decentralized finance, economic policy, and global commerce. The event is taking place on May 19-20 in Amsterdam, where experts across fintech and crypto will gather to share insights on stablecoins and the digital payments industry, more broadly.

Stablecon organizes various events throughout the year. In addition to Stablecon EMEA in Amsterdam, Stablecon USA will also happen later this year in September in Washington DC, USA. Ultimately, Stablecon gathers the industry to advance critical conversations around regulatory clarity and stablecoin infrastructure, aiming to create a more efficient, transparent, and integrated global economy for all.

Indeed, this year, Stablecon is targeting that very theme: Money beyond borders. As the world undergoes increasing technological shifts and innovation, the organizers emphasize the importance of considering the underlying forces determining what we know about money. Thus, the conference gathers these “architects of programmable money, the regulator’s writing tomorrow’s rulebook, and the institutions bridging TradeFi and DeFi” to answer how in fact the global economy is taking shape.

Simply put, at Stablecon attendees can look forward to:

On the agenda, some talks we are particularly looking forward to are: “Stablecoins in Motion – The Future of Payments with GB Agboola, Founder and CEO, Flutterwave,” “Addressing the Challenges of Stablecoin Issuance,” “Agentic Payments with AI and Stablecoins – From Wallets to Global Rails,” and “From Regional Stablecoin Deployments to Realizing the Big Promise of the Cross-Border Use Case”.

The topics at Stablecon EMEA will delve into how the convergence between crypto and institutions, and of stablecoins and agentic AI is redefining payment operations, liquidity, and global capital flows. It will also examine the development of infrastructure – its scaling and efficiency – and finally the policy and regulations setting the standard. For example, we saw that the rollout of the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulations (MiCA) in 2024, basically created a uniform crypto regulation across all EU member states (GM from the Netherlands). Meanwhile, regulatory developments are still evolving – in the EU and abroad. The conference will happen at the Taets Art & Event Park in Amsterdam. Located on the North Sea Canal, the venue is accessible from Amsterdam Centraal and the Schiphol Airport. Additionally, you can also get to the venue in style – on an exclusive boat provided by Stablecon, the HEMBRUG ÉÉN. It is a convenient and memorable way to arrive while enjoying beautiful views along the waterway.
