Thrilld Labs Partnes with Nordic Blockchain Conference

We’re thrilld to announce an official networking partnership with the Nordic Blockchain Conference (NBC), coming to Stockholm, Sweden this June 18-19. For two days, the conference jumps into three core themes: transforming finance, regulation & policy, and AI & decentralized infrastructure.

NBC is organized by the Nordic Blockchain Association (NBA) and aims to bring together blockchain and Web3 professionals throughout the Nordic region and beyond. Ultimately, the group’s mission is to responsibly and sustainably further the blockchain landscape by incorporating a digital ledger through blockchain, affirming best practices, addressing legal and regulatory questions, and financing in the industry.

This is the 7th edition of NBC and the first time taking place in Sweden, yet this year doesn’t promise any less!
At the conference, attendees can expect:

• 1000 delegates, 125 speakers, and 10+ side events;
• Panel and roundtable discussions covering various topics in blockchain and finance, regulations, AI & decentralized systems;
• Access to networking sessions and side events.

In its 2024 edition, the Conference featured Scandinavia’s largest NFT Gallery, and an interactive environment where networking wasn’t just a bonus, but took precedence for achieving success. This year, NBC is bringing back business lounge, as well as an afterparty to keep the conversations – and connections – going well beyond the main program.

NBA works to connect the broader Nordic community with Northern Europe and beyond, positioning the region as a stable and forward-looking hub for investment into the growing blockchain and Web3 ecosystem. According to the NBA, the Nordics are known for their trusted taste, commitment to sustainability, innovation, and technology. The Conference builds on this Nordic legacy, bringing together business leaders from both the Web2 and Web3 world, alongside investors, researchers, and cutting-edge blockchain and Web3 companies from the region and beyond.

Additionally, we’d argue that the Swedish capital of Stockholm embodies the Nordic values of innovation, collaboration, and technological advancements.

This year’s venue is set to take place at Epicenter Stockholm, an ideal space for a conference. As a place for “local changemakers,” it gives attendees of NBC a chance to dive fully into the tech landscape.

We might add that in Sweden, the Web3 and digital asset landscape is still evolving. The country falls under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR), which promotes transparency, stability, and consumer confidence. And regulations are deepening, the crypto space is gaining traction, and this is in no small part due to the rise of local communities, initiatives, and, indeed, events such as the Conference leading the charge. More people are starting to use crypto through ongoing conversations, collaboration, and exposure – step by step.

As part of the networking partnership, NBC attendees can use Thrilld to connect and discuss business — before, during, and after the event.
