We’re thrilld to announce an official networking partnership with Web3Lagos Conference, the largest Web3 event in Lagos, Nigeria taking place on August 28-30. The event aims to educate, inspire, and empower individuals to explore blockchain technologies. To this end, Web3Lagos Conference gathers devs, investors, and blockchain enthusiasts to learn, network, and discuss everything innovation in the Ethereum ecosystem and beyond.

Web3Lagos Conference is a 3-day hybrid event organized by Israel Ebunayo Awosika, founder of  Web3Bridge. Dedicated to knowledge-sharing, Web3Lagos Conference was designed with newcomers and the non-technical in mind–in addition to the technical and blockchain experts. Thus, the gathering very much provides a platform for Web3 enthusiasts and professionals alike across Nigeria, to learn and shape the future of Web3 in Africa. The first edition of Web3Lagos Conference was held in 2022, and each year grows stronger–empowering more people, sparking many new ideas, and deepening the impact of blockchain in Nigeria and beyond.

After the success in 2024, this August attendees can expect:

Web3Lagos Conference will take place on the 28th - 30th of August, 2025, at The Zone, Gbagada in Lagos, Nigeria. Nigeria, popularly tagged the giant of Africa, is located on the West Coast of Africa with numerous multi-ethnic groups and over 250 native languages. From Thrilld Labs’ GM from Nigeria, Nigerian-born copywriter as well as a Web3 enthusiast, Ifeoma Blessings wrote: “The acceptance of crypto in Nigeria has been a rollercoaster” (GM from Nigeria). Arguably, decentralized technologies in Nigeria have not had an easy path, facing suspicion from the government and individuals alike.

Yet, on the other hand, there’s an unapologetic push. In particular, the efforts of individual and grassroots movements are a unique aspect of Nigeria’s crypto journey.
