We’re thrilld to share more about our partnership with Stablecoins Unblocked, a one-day conference exploring the global impact of stablecoins. Happening on July 1 at Clifford Chance, London, the event brings together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators for a full day of discussions on the future of digital money.

Stablecoins Unblocked is all about key issues on stablecoins, from their geopolitical and institutional impacts to adoption, infrastructure, and regulation. This year, topics on the table are: 

• Institutional use cases for stablecoins
• Geopolitical impact of stablecoins
• What is driving stablecoin adoption and what is holding it back
• The need for non-USD stablecoins
• Policy, regulatory and legal developments

Confronting these topics, prominent figures in the industry sit down for discussions, keynotes, and panels. Confirmed speakers include Member of the House of Lords Baroness Swinburne, Partner at Clifford Chance Diego Ballon-Ossio, CEO at Clear Junction Teresa Cameron, Group CEO at B2C2 Thomas Restout, Chief Marketing Officer at Bitget Ignacio Aguirre Franco, and many others.

On the Agenda…

Starting at 8:30am with registration and coffee, the schedule is pretty packed full with keynotes, fireside chats, panels, discussions, and coffee breaks until the evening. One panel topic that caught our attention is titled “Geopolitics: The role of Stable Money in an Unstable Money”. Five prominent founders and professionals – Izabella Kaminska, Jannah Patchay, Nicola Bilotta, Mimi Kufuor, and Isadora Arredondo – shall consider how geopolitical tensions, monetary fragmentation and sovereign debt pressures are influencing the global financial order. From this context, the talk examines the geopolitical implications of digital currencies, the race for monetary influence, and whether stablecoins could become a new pillar of the global financial system.

Another talk, “The Backbone of Stability - Designing Infrastructure for Tokenised Finance,” instead turns to the rails that make tokenised finance scalable, secure, and interoperable: custody, on-chain, settlement assets, identity, compliance, liquidity, and connectivity.
