We’re thrilld to announce a partnership with the Midwest Bitcoin Summit, a bitcoin-only conference taking place in Columbus, Ohio on September 23-24.
The summit puts education and community at the center, offering attendees the chance to explore how businesses are integrating bitcoin into their operations, and how money itself is being changed by said cryptocurrency. Themes are balanced between technical coverage of bitcoin, policy and regulations, and economic and monetary implications; making the summit accessible and interesting for all! And while the summit does focus primarily on bitcoin, there will still be discussions on other digital assets. This is meant to contextualize the broader crypto ecosystem and provide clarity and contrast to bitcoin as a potential for the decentralized monetary network.
At the summit, alongside the ARCH main stage, there will be an ASICPlug expo stage, as well as a business and VIP stage. Each stage will see keynotes, fireside chats, and panel discussions with industry professionals.

On day one, sessions include:
- “What’s The Problem?”, a keynote by Joe Bryan that traces society’s growing list of increasingly severe problems back to fiat money;
- fireside chat with Richard Gabbert (Chief of Staff of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commissions’ Crypto Task Force) and Elizabeth Hansson (KPMG) on “Navigating the Regulatory Frontier;”
- “The Three Levels of Money,” a keynote presentation by Adam Simecka (Manna) on measuring your wealth;
- other talks are “Taxing Freedom Itself: Illinois’ Tyrannical War on Bitcoin,” “Real Estate as a Bitcoin Acquisition Engine,” “Does Bitcoin Need Art to Last?” and “Then They Fight You: Bitcoin’s Role in America’s Future” among others.
Talks range from base discussions on the fundamentals and necessity of bitcoin in contrast to the present monetary system, regulations and tax policies, and the meaning of bitcoin in culture, in macroeconomics, and in commercial real estate! There will also be technical workshops and an exhibition hall. Tracks from mining and lightning development to Austrian economics, or enterprise adoption, are diversified throughout topics and knowledge levels, making the summit more open and personable for all.
What we love...
...the Midwest Bitcoin Summit is all about collaboration and connecting the bitcoin ecosystem across the midwestern United States. It offers spaces for connecting, and provides venues for networking both before and after the main summit’s scheduled times. Before the summit, a VIP evening on September 22 is set for the Parlay Sporting Club and is meant for bitcoin leaders, investors, and innovators for more intimate engagements. On the next day, an official after party at the COSI, Columbus Science Museum will similarly take place with additional opportunities for networking. To attend either of the after parties, submit an RSVP on the event website.
Crypto in the Midwest
The event will happen at the Greater Columbus Convention Center (400 N High St, Columbus, OH 43215), one of the busiest convention centers in North America. The venue is located in downtown Columbus, Ohio, and with numerous event halls, open spaces, and meeting rooms is a great site for organizing conference spaces.

This year is the Midwest Bitcoin Summit’s first edition, and will be one of the largest conferences dedicated to bitcoin in the Midwest United States. Typically, events for crypto and bitcoin have been based in cities like Miami, Austin, Nashville, and Las Vegas, so it is nice to see an event of this scale come to the Midwest.
We’re also a fan of the conference’s initiative with the Bitcoin Scholarship Foundation. As part of their partnership, Midwest Bitcoin Summit donates 10% of all event profits to support programs that provide time-locked bitcoin scholarships and financial literacy education to underprivileged children.
