Thrilld Labs Partners with HERS Monaco

We’re thrilld to share more about our collaboration with HERS Monaco - Female Tech Founders Summit, taking place on 23rd October. Using Thrilld as its official event networking app. HERS Monaco brings together female tech founders, investors, family officers, corporations, and institutions for a rather important question: how do we create better access to capital, networks, and opportunities for those women building the future?

The event is by invitation only and is built essentially around a straightforward idea: creating a trusted room where female innovators and global capital meet, and deals actually get done. Born in Monaco and built for the world, HERS Monaco is right at the intersection of female entrepreneurship and private capital, with a deliberately personalised format rather than a focus on scale. And we love that.

And there is certainly a reason for that focus.

HERS Monaco rightfully highlights that less than 2% of the global VC funding reaches all-female founding teams, pointing to the continuing gap between women building companies and the capital available to them. The summit therefore puts funding access, networking, and collaboration at the center of its agenda. 
‍

Speaking of which, the programme itself runs across the day in one of Monaco’s most beautiful hotels, moving from discussions around the funding gap to startup pitches and eventually, a special Gala Dinner and awards ceremony. 
‍

The morning begins with panels looking at some of the challenges female founders continue to face. For instance, “The €300 Billion Blind Spot” asks why female founders are less funded, whilst “Closing the Funding Gap” examines how founders can deal with both internal and external obstacles. There will also be a moderated audience Q&A around capital and conviction. 
‍

The afternoon turns more towards startups. Several female-led startups will take part in a Startup Pitch Competition (featuring also founder of Thrilld Labs, Alexandra Overgaag) where pitches will be followed by live jury Q&A and investor feedback. The idea behind this is to create a more intimate setting for founders and investors to actually engage with one another.

With the evening comes the Gala Dinner & Awards, which will bring founders, investors, and partners together for an evening of networking (alongside the Female Founders Award, recognising the leading founders from the competition). The event closes with the winning founder being crowned on the gala stage.

Thrilld will be serving as the networking app during HERS Monaco. Hence, attendees will be able to connect ahead of time, discover other participants, book meetings, find the event agenda, sponsors, and partners, and stay on top of relevant event updates.
