An online survey by Boerse Stuttgart Digital found that in the Italian crypto asset market, the purchasing of crypto assets was in some cases favorable to online exchanges (by both industry leaders and emerging start-ups) and for others even to bank apps and generic financial trading services. This trend indicates “this market’s significant potential and of the expansion opportunities to be found in the cryptocurrency industry, especially for traditional finance actors” (The budding Italian crypto assets market). What this report concludes is that there are an increasing number of people using crypto in Italy, yet there is still an unfulfilled demand for products and services by traditional institutional players. A conference dedicated to enabling discussions on the Web3 space is thus arguably a key part in addressing these topics by fostering deeper discussions around adoption, innovation, and the tech itself!
