Thrilld Labs Partners with ETH Cluj

We’re thrilld to share more about the one and only ETHCluj 2026, being held this May 13-14 in Cluj - Napoca, Romania. With their powerful message, Ethereum for Everyone, ETHCluj 2026 is focused on learning, sharing, and building a strong Ethereum ecosystem for everyone(!), from students and first-time builders to more experienced industry pros.

We can confidently say that ETHCluj has become one of Eastern Europe’s most thrilling gatherings solely dedicated to Ethereum and Solidity. Being a community-driven conference, it creates a space for both technical and non-technical discussions alongside workshops and, of course, networking. 
‍

Building on the previous year’s success with 200+ attendees and 80+ speakers, workshops, and talks that continue and connect people beyond the event itself, the 2026 edition brings: 

• 15+ Ethereum Community Partners (hence an international audience!);
• 80+ Guest Speakers from around the world; 
• 20+ sponsors and exhibitors;
• And several side events and whatnot….. 

The organizers behind ETHCluj 2026 also run regular meetups and workshops, both online and offline in Cluj - Napoca and knowing the event organisers we can say that the team showcases a fantastic commitment to community growth and inclusion…

For instance, staying true to their community-first approach, the organizers are once again providing free conference tickets to students who are enthusiastic about blockchain and Web3. Applications will be reviewed based on their interest in blockchain and motivation to be part of the space. Something equally interesting to note is that the conference is taking place at UTCN Hub, a modern innovation space at the Technical University of Cluj - Napoca, designed especially for conferences, workshops, and research with high-end laboratories, even (we of course love that, at Thrilld Labs)... With the university's proximity it serves as the fitting venue!

By the way, the city of Cluj - Napoca is an attraction of its own, often dubbed as the Silicon Valley of Eastern Europe. It is a tech-friendly, student-driven city situated in the historically rich region of Transylvania. Ranked as one of the safest cities in Europe, with English being widely spoken among the younger population, Cluj offers a warm and welcoming environment for global folks to connect and collaborate as well as experience the historical richness one of Europe’s rising tech hubs firsthand. :)
