We’re thrilld to announce a media partnership with Dutch Blockchain Week 2026, taking place from June 22-28 across the Netherlands with it's flagship Summit taking place at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam. At DBW, attendees can look forward to one full week of networking, collaborating and building.
What began as a community-driven initiative in 2019 has grown into a fully B2B-focused event week with more than 40 side events across Amsterdam and the Netherlands more broadly, whilst from June 24-25, the main summit, Dutch Blockchain Week Summit, offers two-days of Web3 insights, panels, and more at a beautiful location.
In joining together the international digital asset ecosystem, DBW has secured a strong and diverse group of partners, such as Bitvavo, bunq, Visa, Kraken, OKX, alongside many others. There is ample opportunity for networking and doing business written into the agenda, yet the many side events are also part of the appeal of a week-long event.
This is in reflection of the broader industry shift, where institutional adoption is on the rise and traditional finance and emerging blockchain technologies are merging. As a business event, attendees come from both walks of life including exchanges, banks and payment providers, asset managers and funds, infrastructure providers, legal and compliance firms, regulators and policymakers and the wider Web3 community in Amsterdam.
Spread across Amsterdam, side events include private dinners and roundtables, community and developer meet-ups, investor-focused gatherings, networking events, and –with particular emphasis from DBW– an invite-only VIP Night ahead of the Summit where speakers, partners, and selected attendees connect in a more intimate setting.
To sum up, at DBW, attendees can look forward to:
- 5,000+ guests, 50+ speakers, 100+ partners;
- Panels, keynotes, Web3 insights, and high-impact networking;
- An audience of industry professionals, with a large global footprint;
- The capital of the Netherlands, a great location for all things Web3 and very active in the ecosystem;
- 40+ side events and other initiatives throughout the week, including Litecoin Summit and the Dutch Blockchain Awards.
Dutch Blockchain Week Summit is the flagship B2B conference and will be hosted inside Johan Cruijff ArenA, home to AFC Ajax and the Dutch national football team from time to time, and –for these two days– also home to Europe’s Web3 ecosystem.

Another highlight is that, for the first time ever in Europe, the Litecoin Foundation will also host the Litecoin Summit on June 22–23 as part of DBW26. The Litecoin Summit, or the two-day financial freedom fiesta in their words, will cover topics in privacy, financial freedom and censorship-resistance. The collaboration between Litecoin Summit and DBW emphasizes their stance for collaboration, and of joining strong international ecosystems. Bringing both these ecosystems together would certainly create a setting in which “communities connect, ideas get exchanged, and new collaborations emerge,” as the organizers say.

And of course, we’re advocates for Amsterdam itself… near to Thrilld Labs’ homebase in Volendam, in fact :) Summertime in Amsterdam is typically warm and sunny, with long days, lush greenery, and languid canals too! Perfect for a venue like the John Crujiff ArenA. From the Rijksmuseum to ' het Vondelpark', Amsterdam has its fair share of public facilities and pastimes to enjoy during the summer months. And let's not forget about its nightlife... We hope to see you in Amsterdam soon!
Moreover, this capital city is a convenient location for discussing all things Web3 too. For example, in Amsterdam alone, Tracxn reported that in January 2026 there were around 141 cryptocurrency startups, including trading platforms and blockchain projects. This compared to the nationwide count of approximately 401 crypto-related startups and bigger entities as of mid-2025.
Broadly, the Netherlands is home to a diverse set of Web3 startups and builders, supported by strong digital infrastructure and regulatory clarity under MiCA. This is DBW’s 8th edition, so with strong traction, a growing international partner base, and a clear positioning as a business-focused platform, DBW is set to become its most impactful edition to date.
