We're thrilld to collaborate with the Digital Assets Summit Africa for its 2026 edition, taking place on 16-17 September at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra, Ghana. Organised by ProMark Elite Limited, DASA has established itself as a meeting point for stakeholders across Africa’s growing digital asset ecosystem, attracting more than 500 delegates annually from Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America.
This year’s theme, “From Policy to Prosperity: Scaling Digital Assets for Investment, Jobs & Economic Growth,” puts a strong focus on what actually comes after adoption. Rather than looking at digital assets from a purely technological and investment perspective, the summit examines how the sector can contribute to wider economic development, workforce opportunities, financial inclusion, and institutional growth across the continent.
And there is certainly momentum behind the African market. According to Chainalysis, Sub-Saharan Africa received more than $205 billion in on-chain value between July 2024 and June 2025, representing around 52% year-on-year growth and making it the 3rd fastest-growing crypto region globally. This region’s activity also continues to be driven by a combination of retail adoption, cross-border transfers, stablecoins, and institutional cases. |
As noted, DASA will thus bring together policymakers and industry participants to discuss some of the key developments shaping the next stage of the market. The programme covers topics ranging from RWA tokenisation for agriculture and gold, stablecoin-powered trade finance, digital custody and institutional adoption, and AI + blockchain trust infrastructure, to digital asset fundamentals, jobs, certification, and workforce development.
The speaker lineup includes Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, Ghana’s Minister for Finance, alongside members of Ghana’s Parliament and representatives from the Securities and Exchange Commission Ghana and Bank of Ghana’s Virtual Assets Department. Other honorable speakers include Prof. Tonya M. Evans, Founder & CEO of Advantage Evans Global Regulatory Strategies and a board member of Digital Currency Group, as well as representatives from central banks and virtual asset institutions across Africa.
What we are particularly thrilld about is the Hack Hive 2.0, which brings builders, innovators, and startups together to turn ideas into practical solutions around blockchain and digital assets.

Moreover, the summit also puts emphasis on entrepreneurship and investment on the agenda through the Accra Regional Startup World Cup.
Participating startups will have the opportunity to pitch to investors in Accra for a chance to progress to the global Grand Finale, where founders will compete for a $1 million investment prize and a trip to San Francisco.
For startups building solutions around digital finance and blockchain infrastructure, this is a great opportunity to connect with a much wider international investor network.
Not to mention the location. DASA is being hosted at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra, Ghana. Accra is one of the markets where digital assets and fintech have been gaining increasing attention. The Bank of Ghana has stated that the country’s virtual asset ecosystem has expanded to more than 3 million users, while Ghana has also been developing a formal regulatory framework for virtual asset service providers.

As the official networking app partner, Thrilld will once again help power networking throughout the event.
Attendees will be able to discover relevant participants, schedule meetings, browse the event agenda alongside sponsors and speakers, create personalised schedules, and, of course, continue conversations before, during, and after the summit concludes.
At Thrilld Labs, we’re always happy to support initiatives that bring professionals worldwide together and push the industry towards collaboration and even better connections..
