Thrilld Labs Partners with BTCHEL 2026

We’re thrilld to collaborate with BTCHEL 2026 for its second edition, taking place on September 25-26 at Kaapelitehdas, Helsinki, Finland.

Building on a strong first edition in 2025, which brought together over 1,000 attendees, 70+ speakers, and 20+ partners, BTCHEL is returning with a focus on the topics that matter the most today: Bitcoin mining, human rights, and the real-world use & adoption of Bitcoin within the Nordic region.

What stands out to us about BTCHEL is its clear positioning. It is a Bitcoin-native gathering, rooted in the culture, ethos, and long-term vision of decentralised money. BTCHEL gathers miners, devs, entrepreneurs, investors, and the Bitcoin-curious, ultimately, providing everyone in the ecosystem the knowledge they need to participate.

Across the two days, the program brings together global and regional voices to explore Bitcoin from multiple angles, from infrastructure and regulations to real-world adoption and financial systems. Whether you are deeply technical or only curious about Bitcoin’s role in the future, the event offers both depth and accessibility.

What to expect at BTCHEL 2026: 

• Bitcoin-focused discussions, ranging from mining and payments to financial systems and adoption, the conference dives into how Bitcoin operates in practice and where it is heading.

Beyond the main conference, BTCHEL is also building a strong local community through the BTCHEL Community Hub. More than just a pop-up space, the hub acts as a meeting point for Bitcoiners, featuring curated products like hardware wallets, books, and mining tools, while also serving as a space for meetups, workshops, and day-to-day collaboration. For members, it even functions as a flexible co-working space, reinforcing BTCHEL’s role as an active, ongoing community that sustains its focus throughout the year.

In addition, the setting in Kaapelitehdas, Finnish for “Cable Factory,” is a historic venue in Helsinki. The building is famous in Salmisaari after it opened in 1943 originally as a marine cable factory. It was later redeveloped in the late 1980s from its industrial use into a cultural centre.
Today, it houses three museums, ten galleries, dance theatres, art schools, and other activities and events. Moreover, Helsinki itself has been steadily growing as a hub for technology, design, and innovation, making it a perfect venue, we believe, for a conference centered around Bitcoin.
