Thrilld Labs Partners with BlockStart Scotland
We’re thrilld to share that Thrilld will be used at BlockStart Scotland, taking place on 25 September at Bridge Gardens, Glasgow. Returning after a successful debut in 2024 and as Scotland’s flagship frontier tech summit, the event portrays the people, companies and ideas that matter for the future of blockchain, AI, and digital assets more broadly. As the official networking app partner, attendees can use Thrilld to connect with one another before, during, and after the event.

We’re thrilld to collaborate with BlockStart Scotland, finally returning to Glasgow this September 25th in the Bridge Gardens, following a successful debut that welcomed hundreds of attendees and more than 70 international speakers. Working in close contact with the organiser, we can only say that the organisation has established itself as one of the UK’s most important drivers behind the space, organising countless meet-ups and community initiatives over the past few years.
About the main conference, then. Designed to bring together both local and international people, BlockStart opens up a space for entrepreneurs, developers, investors, policymakers, enterprises and creators to learn, connect and build.
Hence, throughout the 25th of September, attendees can expect keynote presentations, panel discussions, startup showcases, and networking opportunities in an intimate setting, followed by an evening dedicated to ongoing conversations and a drink. More information about additional side events will follow soon!

This year’s agenda emphasises how rapidly the technology landscape grows and expands, something we all notice in our day-to-day ops. As noted, topics covered include AI, blockchain, DeFi, tokenisation, stablecoins, infrastructure, regulation, Bitcoin treasury, etc. Basically all that’s hot!
One aspect we particularly like is BlockStart’s focus on connecting Scotland’s growing innovation ecosystem to the wider global frontier tech community as well as institutions more broadly.
Another highlight of the conference is its speaker lineup. Confirmed speakers include reps from organisations such as Animoca Brands, TON Foundation, The Digital Commonwealth, Solana Research Institute, BCB Group, Bitpanda, and many more.

In addition, Thrilld Labs’ founder and CEO, Alexandra Overgaag, will be returning to the conference as the MC as well as a speaker, helping guide attendees through the day’s programme and networking.
Indeed, having been there in 2024, we know that Glasgow is the perfect location for BlockStart. This time, the venue, Bridge Gardens, is located just outside the city centre, and brings a modern industrial setting that complements the event’s focus on emerging technologies.
Whether one is building something more institutional, is into regulation, or is investing in digital infrastructure, the conference will connect everyone, hereby enabling deals, connections and the exchange of ideas.
And, as the official networking app partner, attendees can use Thrilld to discover who is attending, set one’s agenda, and continue conversations before, during, and long after the event concludes.
