Thrilld Labs Partners with BlockchainX Istanbul 2026

We’re thrilld to collaborate with BlockchainX Istanbul Conference, taking place this May 15-16 at the Grand Cevahir Hotel & Convention Center. BlockchainX Istanbul is a subsidiary of Yasmin Digital and is organised and funded by Yasmin Digital.

What we like about the event is its multi-vertical format, bringing together different parts of the ecosystem rather than focusing on a single niche.

Across the two days, the event will combine conference sessions, live activations, and networking, alongside a hackathon, demo day, and industry awards. The idea is to essentially create a space where both early-stage projects and established players can engage across different tracks and actually explore collaboration opportunities.

At its core, BlockchainX focuses on the broader evolution of the blockchain ecosystem, targeting from streamlined protocols to more advanced decentralised solutions. Also, at the same time, it expands into adjacent areas like artificial intelligence and gaming, reflecting how these technologies are increasingly converging.

Set in Istanbul, a city that naturally connects regions and markets and sits right at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, both geographically and economically, the event truly brings together a diverse mix of participants across the blockchain ecosystem and the space. The conference is taking place in the Grand Cevahir Hotel Convention Center, which is also Turkey’s first five-star convention hotel known to host the most prestigious gatherings in the business world. 

Also, a fun fact, Turkey recorded nearly $200 billion in annual cryptocurrency transaction volume and has nearly 50% crypto ownership, making it one of the largest markets in the MENA region. Moreover, in Turkey, stablecoin transactions account for 4.3% of the country's GDP. 

The reason is that amid the currency devaluation and persistent inflation, crypto has increasingly been used as an alternative for wealth preservation and financial access, even as some market activity remains partly driven by speculative trading. All the more reasons why the BlockchainX Istanbul conference will have really relevant insights and conversations.
