Thrilld Labs Partners with Blockchain.RIO

We’re thrilld to partner with the Blockchain.RIO team as they return for another edition of one of Latin America’s largest blockchain gatherings being held from 12-13 August at ExpoRio, CIDADE NOVA in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Since launching in 2022, the event has evolved beyond a conference into a broader ecosystem connecting regulators, policymakers, financial institutions, infrastructure providers, tech companies, investors, and the wider Web3 community.

Throughout the two days, attendees can expect keynote speakers, panel discussions, executive networking, business meetings, and dedicated content tracks that will explore tokenisation, stablecoins, cross-border payments, institutional blockchain adoption, compliance, and the future of financial infrastructure. The scale of the event is impressive, in our opinion, with this year’s edition expecting to welcome around 20,000 participants, more than 500 execs, regulators, and other professionals, as well as attendees from over 70(!) countries. 

One highlight of the conference is its initiative: Financial Infrastructure Forum - LATAM on August 11th, which is an institutional forum covering
a). Real World Assets & capital markets,
b). Regulation & liquidity, and
c). Global payment rails (such as interoperability and settlement networks),
and how these three bigger narratives are together empowering the future of global finance.

In addition, alongside the main Blockchain.RIO stage, attendees can explore other dedicated forums and stages such as Global Finance, Regulation Rocks, Blockchain Insights, Stablecon Brazil, Criptorama in Rio, AI Frontiers, Crypto Summit, and Blockchain Forum Latam, which arguably cater to a wide variety of interests. In sum, Blockchain.RIO is very one of Latin America’s leading institutional platforms for discussing where the blockchain, tokenisation, and digital finance space is heading next.

The venue in itself is something which adds to the conference, with Rio de Janeiro being known as the “Hashtown” Hub due to being a prominent physical hub and corporate campus for digital asset firms like Hashdex, tech startups, and Web3 investors. Not to mention the utter beauty of this seaside city in Brazil, with its carnival, samba, bossa nova, and beaches.
