We’re thrilld to announce an official networking collaboration with the Blockchain Bootcamp & Workforce Expo, happening from July 13th to 17th at the Capitol Technology University in Maryland, USA. Powered by the Blockchain Legal Institute Foundation (and supported by Maryland Blockchain Association), the event is designed with a rather unique approach, focusing on workforce development, education, public awareness, and practical blockchain adoption.

Held over the span of five days, the program brings together stakeholders from across government, academia, industry, and civil society to explore how emerging technologies are transforming careers, business operations, financial systems, and public institutions.
What makes the event especially different is its audience diversity. Attendees range from university learners to lawyers, accountants, regulators, entrepreneurs, bankers, and family offices, to healthcare professionals, real estate experts, and so forth. The plan is to make blockchain and digital innovation more accessible while helping participants develop employable skills for the future economy.
Speakers include David Burt (Premier of Bermuda), Adrian Boafo (Member of the Maryland House of Delegates from the 23rd Legislative District), Michael Terpin (serial entrepreneur/investor), Dr. Ron Watson (State Senator for the 23rd Legislative District in the Maryland General Assembly), and many others.
What to expect?
Five (!) days of interactive learning with each day designed for a different audience segment, from blockchain newcomers to institutional decision-makers and compliance professionals. Key themes that will be discussed throughout the week include blockchain fundamentals and digital asset literacy, tokenisation and real-world assets, stablecoins and digital payment infrastructure, AI agents and blockchain convergence, regulatory frameworks and compliance, as well as workforce development and possible future careers.
The event supports Maryland’s broader vision of creating a skilled workforce readily equipped in blockchain and innovative technologies through partnerships with universities, businesses, and government organisations. To this end, participants can find various activities and initiatives alongside the main event, such as the BLI Legal Tech Hackathon and other blockchain-focused innovation programs.

In addition to the main conference program, attendees can participate in:
- CryptoMondays Maryland
- BitAngles Maryland/DC Pitch Event
- Startup and investor networking sessions
- Blockchain marketplace exhibitions
The BitAngels Maryland/DC Pitch Event (July 16), for example, provides an opportunity to connect directly with angel investors, venture capitalists, legal experts, and ecosystem partners focused on compliance-first innovation.
