Thrilld Labs Partners with Bitcoin Social Forum

We’re thrilld to share that Bitcoin Social Forum will use Thrilld as the official event networking app this September! With the date set for the 26th in Florence, Italy, Bitcoin Social Forum (part of a broader effort called 'il rinascimento digitale') begins with a guided tour on the origins of Bitcoin and moves on to consider future scenarios of artificial intelligence and its very intersection with Bitcoin and other digital assets, alongside other themes such as taxation and real world implementation.

Running from 9:00 to 23:00 at Le Murate in Florence, the upcoming annual event of Bitcoin Social Forum is expecting over 200 participants. Attendees include professionals working with digital assets, international experts and opinion leaders in the wider Italian Bitcoin community. With clear language, concrete examples, and space for questions, the event is designed for everyone… businesses, citizens, institutions, and all.

The program begins by tracing the origins of Bitcoin since 2008, continuing up to the present and what’s after. Think financial crisis and the fallout of trust in traditional system, then, to payments, custody, wallets, seed phrases, rules and taxes, and finally, the opportunities for tourism, businesses, professionals and the region.. Quite a lot, to put things simply :)

The second half of the day turns towards Artificial Intelligence, exploring questions like what AI really is (its history, Turing’s ideas, and where systems are at today), or how AI intersects with digital assets.

Outside of their annual event, Bitcoin Social Forum organises various initiatives throughout the year to expand education and adoption of Bitcoin. They also hear from public institutions and promote Bitcoin to local business and tourists in Florence, which allows for discussions from a broader scope of perspectives.
