Thrilld Labs Partners with Bitcoin Amsterdam 2026

We’re thrilld to collaborate once again with the team of Bitcoin Amsterdam, this time for its 2026 edition. Returning to the SugarFactory in Amsterdam on November 5-6, the two-day conference brings together the European and global Bitcoin ecosystem for discussions around Bitcoin innovation, investment, technology, regulation, privacy, energy and its long-term future. 

The conference is set to welcome more than 5,000 attendees, alongside a global audience following the conversations virtually. Welcoming anyone and everyone from technical builders and entrepreneurs to investors, policymakers, and Bitcoin advocates, the event essentially creates a space to explore not only Bitcoin’s technology, but also its growing role in business, finance, politics, and society.

What we particularly love about Bitcoin Amsterdam is how it’s built around several different spaces and experiences. The Main Stage will host thousands of attendees and feature keynote presentations, panels, and conversations with some of the biggest names in the Bitcoin industry. The Orange Stage will be focused on European perspectives and developments across the ecosystem, and last but not least, ‘The Deep’ is an exclusive and intimate access space to high-quality content with industry experts, speakers, and sponsors.

Previous editions have welcomed speakers including Adam Back, Jack Mallers, Elizabeth Stark, among many others. The 2026 speaker lineup is yet to be announced but is surely expected to be nothing short of interesting conversations and insights. And, we’re also excited to be part of the conversation, as Thrilld Labs' founder and CEO Alexandra Overgaag will be MC of the main stage. Certainly, we’re very thrilld to hear from some of the top voices in the industry and make it back to Amsterdam in-person!

After checking out the stages, attendees can also explore the expo hall, community areas, art installations, side events, and other experiences taking place throughout the conference.

Pre-Event: Bitcoin for Corporations Symposium 

‍

Not to mention, the week begins with the Bitcoin for Corporations Symposium (Nov. 4), a full-day symposium focused on the practical realities of corporate Bitcoin strategy and designed exclusively for corporate executives, capital allocators, and institutional service providers. 

‍

Topics of discussion will include treasury mechanics, board governance, custody selection, financing strategies, and the broader infrastructure supporting companies that are either managing Bitcoin on their balance sheets or considering how they can fit Bitcoin into their long-term strategy. It aims to bring together corporate treasuries, institutional investors, hedge funds, family offices, and infrastructure providers, creating a more focused space for senior-level conversations and dealmaking before the main conference begins.

At the SugarFactory…

The venue for Bitcoin Amsterdam will once again be at the SugarFactory! This former sugar refinery is known for its distinctive and unique industrial infrastructure, located just outside of Amsterdam in Halfweg. It operated from 1854-1992, processing beets into sugar, and has since been repurposed, utilizing high ceilings with industrial pillars and kettles to create a dynamic and unique background for events.

We’d argue it’s the most apt venue for the conference, and the city of Amsterdam itself has been one of Europe’s most internationally connected cities and a meeting point for tech, finance, and entrepreneurship innovation. According to StartupBlink, Amsterdam ranks 24th globally for blockchain, which is slightly higher than its overall ecosystem ranking of 27th.

Indeed, Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands and Thrilld Labs’ homebase, is sincerely a convenient location for all things discussion and action on Web3 as it has a very active ecosystem of projects and events.
