We’re thrilld to announce a community partnership with BananaConf Tallinn, happening this May 20-21 in Tallinn, Estonia! For two days, BananaConf lets attendees tip their toes into innovation in Web3 and AI, narrowing in on real-world solutions. At the heart of Estonia, the event intersects art and tech, aiming to deliver meaningful content and connections.

This is the Fourth Edition of BananaConf, gathering all sorts in Web3, including founders, devs, artists, entrepreneurs and innovators who actually care about the future of technology. Sessions this year explore crypto adoption in the Nordics & Baltics, opportunities in AI, and include demonstrations of emerging innovations and Web3 projects.

The main days are May 20-21 in Kinomaja, at the art of old Town. The rest will be filled with side activities around the city from May 19th and PizzaDAO on May 22nd. What else to expect?

• Workshops created so everyone can get their hands involved with the creation and developing of AI tech;

The conference is set to take place in Tallinn, Estonia, the capital and cultural hub of Estonia, and also located on the side of the Baltic Sea. The venue is at the Tallinn Kinomaja Cinema, which provides a high-quality black-box venue with a wealth of possibilities… including two bars in Kinomaja. Indeed, at BananaConf they promise “speakers that teach not preach, immersive art and a day/night program that includes headlining DJs, performers, and even a comedy roast!”

Moreover, talking about possibilities, the Baltic region is positioning itself as a key regional player in tech innovation. Notably, according to Manimama Law Firm, “Estonia is widely regarded as one of the most technologically advanced nations in the EU” (Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania): MiCA’s Impact on Crypto Startups) due to utilization of of digital governance and fintech infrastructure. One additional contributor to its growing tech scene is the adoption of MiCA regulations. Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are known for digital innovation and regulatory foresight and have moved to integrate MiCA regulations into their respective crypto spaces.

Yet, Estonia also offers a transparent and efficient licensing procedure, which–owing to its digital structure–allows many processes to be completed remotely. BananaConf will definitely showcase the crypto space in the Nordics and Baltics, and for those looking to find connections in the region there is plenty of opportunity to network, yet as the organisers put it themselves: “Do we connect on job titles?
