Thrilld Labs Attends Bitcoin 2026

Thrilld Labs made the trip to Las Vegas for Bitcoin 2026 this April as a media partner. As the world’s largest Bitcoin conference, Bitcoin 2026 gathered over 5000 companies, 500 speakers in the industry, and the global Bitcoin ecosystem. From Bitcoin mining and building on Bitcoin to policy, AI, computing, culture, and even art… the event covered all verticals. Onsite, our team met with investors, partners, and others, and we left with new connections and new ideas about joining the US market… Read on to learn more about how the event went.

On April 27-29, the world’s largest Bitcoin conference, Bitcoin 2026 took place at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, USA. Our team took the trip to Las Vegas for the second time, where we were happy and honored to meet the center and heartbeat of the global Bitcoin movement.

Bitcoin 2026 is organized by BTC Inc., the parent company of Bitcoin Magazine, Bitcoin for Corporations, and The Bitcoin Conference with events like Bitcoin Asia, Bitcoin Amsterdam, and Bitcoin MENA happening worldwide. The company was established in 2013 and has hosted over 21 conferences since then, reaching 150+ countries and 170K+ audience members.

In its early years, BTC Inc. initially began as a media company, until it later launched Bitcoin 2019 in San Francisco. Subsequent editions followed in Miami and elsewhere in Amsterdam, Hong Kong, and Abu Dhabi. BTC Inc. has been (and continues to be) heavily involved with the industry, providing coverage on the decentralized monetary system, as well as actively taking part in its shaping.

At Bitcoin 2026, the global Bitcoin ecosystem came together. Over 5,000 companies, 500 speakers, and 300 sponsors; and everyone from builders, thinkers, and believers in the financial freedom of Bitcoin. For example, initiatives on-site included:

  • Enterprise Hall: where deals were made by decision makers;
  • The Deep: a VIP lounge for Whale Pass holders
  • Code+Country: a space for policymakers, industry execs, and Bitcoiners that dove into the real-world impact of Bitcoin
  • Compute Village: a room for miners, institutions, analysts, investment banks, and compute buyers
  • Mining lounge: for Bitcoin mining, energy, and data center professionals
  • Women of Bitcoin Bash: a celebration of five years of Women of Bitcoin

There was also the Bitcoin for Corporations Symposium, Bitcoin Art Gallery, Bitcoin Bazaar, and 7 unique stages each focusing on a different theme.

Tracks for the event centered around: Bitcoin 101; AI+Computing+Mining; Policy; Culture; Open Source; and Enterprise.

In the making of such a large-scale event, the Head of Events at BTC Inc. Justin Doochin, shared a few insights about the organization process with us. Of particular note, he shared that the growth of BTC Inc. and their event series by 10x from 2019 to today has been about adaptation.

Justin said: “strategic decisions and designs are made while staying true to our values, listening to the audiences, partners, and the market, as well as maintaining a Bitcoin-only ethos.” Indeed, with so many folks attending, “you cannot just wing it”.  Find the full interview ‘Thrilld Labs <> Justin Doochin: Inside the Making of Bitcoin 2026’ here.

There was certainly much to explore at Bitcoin 2026, which is very fitting, we’d say, for one of the finest global conferences in the industry.

What We Were Up To

Our team took the trip to Las Vegas this April to attend Bitcoin 2026. After a +24 hour trip with delays and three flights from Italy, we arrived in Vegas and remained much impressed with the venue, not in the last place as it welcomed us back in Vegas’ version of Italy, that is at The Venetian.

At the conference, there were big expo halls with all sorts of projects and artworks, a great media lounge, and all sorts of special initiatives, such as the enterprise hall and a hackathon.

Some observations we had from the talks: firstly, even though the US is arguably the center of gravity for Bitcoin, especially for capital and policy, many talks focused on geopolitics and other nations’ (economic) policies, such as China. The Code & Country track does in fact highlight the geopolitical implications of Bitcoin, and how code and governance interact across borders.

Secondly, institutional and corporate presence was extremely high, as we saw regulators and policy playing out in the room next to infrastructure builders and hackathons. This was cause for some debates across various participants with whom we spoke about Bitcoin’s roots and its institutionalisation.

On a final point, we also noticed that there was a significant participation by women, both in attendance and on stage.

For example, one initiative called the Women of Bitcoin Bash caught our eye, since it brings women shaping the future of Bitcoin together for connection, conversation, and celebration beyond the conference floor.

Speaking of which, our team went for a rather unique networking approach. We set up in a position alongside the main entry path with the laptop open and a ‘Dutch start-up looking for investors’ screen up, which made people self identify.

This way, we were able to speak with some interesting individuals, including some angel investors, partners, and others about our project. It was also nice to get some different inputs from various people we met.

Overall, we are thrilld to have attended The Bitcoin Conference for the second year in a row. Traveling to Las Vegas also gave us the chance to explore potential opportunities in the US market.

What's Next?

We’re preparing for what’s sure to be another sweaty summer season ;) as we push the next phase of Thrilld, and our event ticketing platform, Thrilld Events!

We’re also much looking forward to new partnerships, and opportunities on the horizon, for example, with Bitcoin Hong Kong approaching already in August and Bitcoin Amsterdam, in November.

Additionally, Bitcoin 2027 is already scheduled for next year in Nashville, Tennessee on July 15-17! Nashville holds special significance for BTC Inc. as the company's headquarters and hometown.

The last time the Bitcoin Conference was hosted in Nashville was in 2024, when President Donald Trump addressed an audience of more than 22,000 people…

We’re looking forward to what the 2027 edition in Nashville will bring!
