Super-Synergy Series: Alexandros Dolgov
In our Super-Synergy Series, the wonderful people behind Web3 are shown. The goal? To highlight the good work of our partners and collaborators in the space. Why, then? Because we believe in synergies, but ONLY in those that are both suitable and special. Hence, 'super' synergies.. In this edition, we are thrilld to share the work of Alexandros Dolgov, the founder of Alex on Chain, educator, author, and all-around Web3 polymath. Read on for more about Alex...

At Thrilld Labs, we believe that the future of Web3 is shaped by real human connection, collaboration, and the distribution of value. In our Super-Synergy Series, we are not only showcasing the ingenuity and creativity happening in the Web3 space but, arguably more importantly, the wonderful people behind them.
So in this series we’re highlighting the achievements and contributions of our partners and collaborators in the Web3 space.
Why?
Because we believe in synergies, but only in the kind that are both suitable and special, hence super. Fun fact: Super-Synergy is also the name of one of Thrilld’s premium features. Through our Super-Synergies, we cast a human-oriented net into Web3, allowing us to see the faces behind the ideas, recognize the everyday contributions of individuals, and indeed, foster human connection and trust–which remains at the foundation of any business or product.
In this edition, we are thrilld to feature Alexandros Dolgov, the founder of Alex on Chain, educator, author, and all-around Web3 polymath.
He helps Web3 teams bridge the gap between vision and execution by offering hands-on Solidity development, tailored consulting, and educational talks that break down complex ideas into actionable steps. We spoke with Alexandros to learn more about his work, background, and vision for a more decentralized world.
Read on below..
What are you building in the Web3 space?
I offer consulting, smart contract programming, and public speaking within the Web3 space by combining hands-on technical expertise with education and communication.
My work spans a wide spectrum: from onboarding individuals into crypto and advising on DeFi and token economics, to supporting projects with protocol design, DAO strategy, and regulatory matters such as MiCA and crypto taxation.
I also write the Unchained Web newsletter, contribute to Cointelegraph, and lecture on blockchain-related topics at the Rotterdam School of Management. My aim is to help bring blockchain, and its ethos, to the mainstream not just through code, but through understanding.
With whom are you hoping to connect and why?
I’m currently looking to connect with clients or employers who are in need of:
- Smart contract programming (Solidity, Foundry)
- Web3 consulting or technical guidance
- Speaking engagements or educational workshops
If you're building something meaningful in the space, I’d love to explore how we can collaborate.
Any key successes or milestones you’d like to share, Alexandros?
One of my proudest milestones is the publication of my book: Beginning Solidity. It’s designed for students and builders who want to learn smart contract development from the ground up, starting from the history of money and Ethereum fundamentals, all the way to deploying upgradable contracts and launching DAOs using Foundry. It’s the book I wished existed when I started.
I’m also a Chartered Blockchain Analyst, hold an MSc in Blockchain and Digital Currency from the University of Nicosia, and contribute to CityDAO, working on decentralized governance models.
What excites (thrills!) you about the future of Web3?
The idea of transforming representative democracy into direct democracy through DAOs absolutely thrills me. Hearing stories from my father about the Soviet Union and living through the financial collapse in Greece made me realise how fragile financial systems can be. Hence, I’ve always questioned the nature of money and governance.
Discovering Bitcoin was like a revelation: it matched the decentralized, community-driven vision I’d imagined as a child. That’s what led me to commit to this space. I believe we can build something fundamentally fairer, both financially and politically, and I want to help make that happen.
Why are you part of the Thrilld Labs and Thrilld community?
Thrilld Labs has the potential to connect the global Web3 community and facilitate investment and collaboration in ways that haven’t existed before.
It’s one of the rare initiatives that goes beyond buzzwords. It's building the real infrastructure for human-level connection and discovery in our space.
Thanks for your time, Alex :)!
