^{Ifeoma Blessing joined us this August, participating in Thrilld Labs’ Traineeship Q3 2025 Program as a Digital Content Trainee. Ifeoma is a Web3 enthusiast and writer, born and based in Nigeria, where she also recently completed a BSc in Medical Laboratory Science.}

^{Currently, she is writing and publishing on the Web3 space, and believes that the right Web3 content, when simplified, is friendly and relatable. Ifeoma also enjoys music and drawing.}

^{In this interview, we sat down with Ifeoma Blessing and asked about her motivations for joining Web3 and her thoughts on the space and its future. Find out what she said…}

What motivated you to join Thrilld Labs?

‍

Firstly, I was in contact with the CEO of Thrilld Labs, Alexandra Overgaag. I had a chat with her and was driven by the work she's doing at Thrilld. I am inspired by the work and expertise at Thrilld Labs. I admire how much effort Thrilld Labs exerts in providing cohesion within the crypto industry. I have always wanted to learn and expand my connections in Web3. I found a collaborative and great team in Thrilld Labs.

What made you want to join the crypto space?

‍

Unfortunately, what made me join the crypto space wasn't something really serious. Firstly, I‘d feel awkward and aloof when my friends discussed crypto. I heard things like airdrops, staking, mining and all. I kept wondering what all the fuss was about.

‍

I would google the simplest terms just to grasp what my friends talked about. It wasn't making a lot of sense. I have written content on various topics in the health field, mainly because I was studying Medical Laboratory Science. Writing about health and wellness also gave me an edge as a student. Plus, I had written content on artificial intelligence for a brand. I love writing, but how come those crypto terms weren't adding up in my brain?

I wanted to understand crypto jargon, even though they were the simplest terms in the space. So I found myself writing articles on crypto for a friend. I started researching and writing on the easiest topics. I wrote articles on stablecoins, NFTs, and altcoins. The process started adding up in bits, and I wanted to write more about Web3. My interest heightened when I realized I could utilize my writing prowess in the space. My enthusiasm developed as I onboarded in the crypto space.

What technical or fundamental aspects do you find most intriguing about Web3?

‍

What I find most intriguing about Web3 is the infrastructure and synchronization. The real spirit behind Web3. Behind every Web3 project are founders, developers, designers, researchers, marketers, etc. I admire that every individual tries their best to make things work.

What are you currently working on in your Web3 journey?

‍

There's a saying that learning never ends, plus no one is an island of knowledge. I am learning and writing more on crypto. Currently, I am a Digital Content Trainee at Thrilld Labs, where I am exposed to various hands-on teaching, furthering my growth in the space.

How do you see Web3 evolve in the future (for instance, from a product adoption, inclusion or a technology?

‍

Well, I believe that Web3 will continue to grow and gain depth in the technology world. DeFi has enabled many to gain control over their finances. NFTs, on their own, give individuals a sense of ownership over their digital assets. Currently, the integration of artificial intelligence has evolved the use cases of Web3. Web3 just started and is far from taking a rest.
