We had the pleasure of interviewing Kara to learn more about her work and, importantly, her thoughts on the Web3 business space.
What are you currently working on that has a link to crypto, and why are you doing this?
I am working on our Grow3dge Program which is in it's first season, and has 30 and growing organizations (blockchains, protocols, DAO's and dApps) participating. I am also initiating our Si Her DAO which has 40 and growing women in Web3 communities, as well as womxn industry leaders.
What are your ambitions for the coming months? How do you see yourself making an impact?
I envision working closely with our team and our Grow3dge participants to support them in developing more effective educational and onboarding programs for their organizations. We are also launching our new learning platform S|U with education from and for industry professionals, so we will be busy preparing this over the coming months to launch at the beginning of 2026!
What’s the most valuable business tip you’ve learned, and how has it impacted your growth, or that of others?
I've learned that you can go faster alone, but farther together. I embed collaboration and an ecosystemic perspective in everything I do, and when I create something for myself, I create it for others too. This can require more time, planning and preparation, but I believe this inclusive mindset is also preparing myself and my organization for wider adoption and long-term growth.
Tell us what advice you would give to women starting out in Web3? What would you wish you had known earlier?
Despite all the helpful and supportive women in Web3 communities out there - it's still up to you to take action and invest in yourself. As women, we're breaking down thousands of years of real and invisible barriers and limiting beliefs.
We can dissolve these barriers most effectively when we discard our fears of uncertainty and be fierce in our focus for whatever you want to call 'success.' Take yourself seriously, invest in your dreams, focus and take action, and watch it pay off (not without challenges along the way).
