EcstaSHE at 100+: Join a Growing Network of Female Web3 Professionals

On this International Women's Day, we're excited to say that EcstaSHE has grown to 100+ female Web3 professionals. Because networks (and action!) matter, we invite more builders, investors, founders, and devs to join the group. The goal is simple: to allow women in the space to find the right people, exchange opportunities and conduct deals, be it for funding, jobs, visibility or whatnot. Read on.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we’re thrilld to share that EcstaSHE, our Web3-focused female business group, has now grown to 100+ professionals.

What started as a small group in 2024 to exchange insights, deals, and opportunities is steadily expanding.

Everyone in Web3 knows that building a community is never easy... especially when it consists of highly accomplished women who are all busy with building their companies and careers.

But the broader context remains clear.

As we have argued elsewhere in our article Women + Web3 – About a Merit-Based Space, Some Systemic Challenges, and a Fifth Wave of Feminism,” emerging decentralized infrastructures could contribute to what we describe as a “fifth wave of feminism.” In this view, digital networks and Web3 technologies may create new opportunities for collective organization, economic participation, and gender-inclusive innovation.

At the same time, although Web3 is often framed as decentralized, technologically neutral, and meritocratic, the gendered inequalities that characterize traditional technology and financial sectors can still persist. Uneven access to capital, networks, and visibility continues to shape participation in the brave new world of Web3.

Narratives of meritocracy alone can obscure these structural dynamics. That is why we believe greater systemic, corporate, and institutional awareness—and action—remains essential to addressing persistent barriers to women’s participation.

Women still hold only about 11% of executive roles in tech.
Female founders in Web3 are even rarer: just 13% of founding teams include at least one woman, and only 3% are all-female teams.

We know by experience that success - however you wish to define that - sometimes depends less on talent than on networks.

And that’s exactly why EcstaSHE exists.

Our goal is simple: to bring women in Web3 together to

  • Find the right people
  • Exchange opportunities and ideas
  • Be visible as professionals & builders in the space
  • Build through the proactive sharing of opportunities

What does that look like in practice? Thrilld Labs' female team members are actively trying to offer:

  • Visibility in the form of interviews, online events, and networking (including time for demos and pitches)
  • We also have a TG group exclusively for female community members.
  • We send you about 1 email per month with updates/takeaways of events and write about business opportunities or interesting research that pop up or we come across, respectively.
  • Whenever Thrilld Labs receives free tickets to events, we strive to provide prioritized access to those for the EcstaSHE community members
  • Access to a community space on Thrilld, enabling networking and information exchange. All members will get free access to Thrilld's premium features.

If you are a developer, founder, Web3 professional, or any woman working in the ecosystem, we would love to have you join us.

Interested? Feel free to go to the signup form or pass this message along to the women in your network.

Cheers & Happy International Women’s Day.
